Like any relationship, improving your relationship with food doesn’t happen overnight.
But, with work and the right supports, it can happen.
And when it does, you’ll notice less stress, fear, shame and worry around eating.
Freedom from constantly thinking about which foods you should or shouldn’t be eating
Freedom from depriving yourself from eating real foods
Freedom from the labels given to foods
No foods are off limits and there is no guilt felt when you eat foods that are typically labeled as “good” or “bad”
When I first met this wonderful woman, she had lost some weight on her own but it had stalled.
Fast forward 12 weeks…her results are incredible!
Losing weight and belly fat is never easy but, with the right approach, it can be made simpler.
She lost 17 lbs
Lost 16 cm down around her waist and hips
Wears size 10/12 instead of 14/16
Eats foods she likes without guilt
No longer mindlessly snacks
Enjoys pizza, pasta and occasional desserts
Couldn’t be happier to go shopping for a new wardrobe
Has just bought herself a new trendy pair of ripped jeans
Has found exercises she enjoys without spending hours on the treadmill
Is working on putting herself before others
Enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren
But that’s why I was there to guide and support her.
Now Amy is walking every day during her lunch break at work, attending hot yoga (which she loves and forgot how much) 3 times a week and has lost 20 lbs and many inches from over her body.
Which means, she could go on vacation and enjoy herself, and wear her old bathing suits (that were now too loose!).
Amy feels so much more confident in her clothes, loves her new mindset and has learned how to make healthy food choices that she enjoys and tastes great!
With the right support, losing 10-20 lbs in 12 weeks is possible.
Take it from Amy.
Meal prepping on the weekend
Bringing balanced meals to work
Meals focused on protein
Adding meaningful movement throughout her day
Walking her dog in the evening
Reserving gym classes for the weekends or days off work
Practicing muscle relaxation techniques
No longer drinking beer regularly with friends
Thinking before snacking
Creating a vision for the type of relationship she deserves
Balancing work and social time
Travelling more
Having fun out with friends
Planning and preparing her meals for those long days at work
Exercising at least 3 days a week and loving it
Consistently scheduling time for herself to do things that make her feel good
She was stressed, defeated and unsure what else to do, other than starving herself in the week!
Yardaena decided she needed to do something different.
Yardaena still had challenges like living in a different time zone, traveling often for work and wanting to eat meals out with family and friends. But that’s why I was there to guide her. To teach her and keep her accountable and on track.
And all without feeling deprived!
Yardaena has finally been able to put what she terms “a lifelong issue” to rest and feels so much more in control, confident and stronger in her body
Her body that she describes as no longer “soft and mushy”
Yardaena is calmer and loves the compliments from others about how different she looks and acts.
Finally getting a handle on this “life long” stressor has freed up emotional energy for her to enjoy other parts of her life instead of feeling constantly drained by thoughts about food.
